This conference includes the session:
- Sociology and/or Economics of Memory: New and Classical Conceptualizations of Memory, Personal or Commodity, Public or Private?
Scope of research: social science theoretical or applied research papers pertaining to memory in various forms; for example in-human mental memory, external electronic memory, or stored biological memory (banked DNA, seeds, eggs, etc.). Papers about: collective memory, personal memory, narrative, new and classical sociological theories regarding individual, collective or “collected memory” such as banked electronic dataveillance, video surveillance, seed, sperm, egg or DNA; socio-political issues pertaining to such "commodity memory" and papers regarding traumatic and other aspects of memory, are invited for presentation.

Each session has three or four speakers who present 20 minute presentation papers.
