Jooyeoun Suh, Ph.D., is a faculty fellow at American University, Washington D.C. in the U.S. Her research interests focus on measurement and valuation issues regarding unpaid family care, including child care and elder care, time pressure for working families and building satellite accounts that add the value of housework to national accounting systems. She received her doctorate in economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Prior to joining American University in 2021, she worked at AARP, the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, and the Center for Time Use Research (CTUR) at University College London.
