Dr Pierre Walthéry is a Senior Research Fellow at CTUR. His research cover work and employment; gender in paid and unpaid work; subjective wellbeing through the prism of time diary. Recent work includes exploring enjoyment at work and the sharing of childcare using the 2015 UK Time Use Survey, and more recently, occupational risk associated with COVID 19. He received his PhD in Social Statistics at the University of Manchester in 2012 and worked as a research fellow at the Cathie Marsh Institue for Social Research and previously at Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium. His prior work includes policy assessment from the prism of heath inequalities; labour market and employment policies and industrial relations. He co-authored research reports for the Government Equality Office, the European Commision, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions.
