We are happy to announce that time use experts working at the Centre for Time Use Research, UCL, and the University of Oxford (GenTime) organised a time use training event in London, UK, this June.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about time use data and analysis techniques (including a short introduction), and network with like-minded researchers and time use research enthusiasts.
We provided R and Stata syntax, and each statistical programme was used based on the type of analysis performed.
We focused on:
- Time use literature
- Existing time use datasets
- Time diary data management
- Household time diary level data analysis
- Time diary sequence analysis
- Explore how time diary data would fit in your research
Location: IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society
Times: 10:00 – 17:30 with optional social events in the evening
