Sizhan Cui is a DPhil (PhD) student in Sociology at the University of Oxford. Using quantitative and quasi-experimental methods, her research examines how contemporary work arrangements, including flexible, remote, and precarious employment, relate to household life and the wellbeing of family members. She currently works as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Time Use Research (CTUR) at UCL Institute of Education, where she contributes to the ESRC-funded Next Steps in Time Use Research (NeSTUR) project. Her research has been published in leading journals, including The British Journal of Sociology, Social Indicators Research, and BMC Public Health.
