Students profit from and take part in a vibrant research community created by the interactions of the School of Social Sciences, the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research(MZES), the Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences (GESIS), the Mannheim Research Institute for the Economics of Aging (MEA), the Central Institute of Mental Health (ZI) and the Collaborative Research Centre 884 (The Political Economy of Reform). The 2011 program starts in September.
