The Social Policy and Development Centre, Karachi, hosts this conference with the objective of the conference is to bring together South Asian experts working on the issues of women, work and poverty. The conference is being funded by Royal Norwegian Embassy (Islamabad). Globally, countries are committed to fulfill their international commitments to ensure women’s empowerment by addressing issues of inequities and inequalities and also by ensuring dignity at work. Individuals will be invited from within the countries and other South Asian countries.

Length of Paper: not exceeding 5000 words
Notification of acceptance: February 15, 2014
