Qi Zhou is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Time Use Research (CTUR), University College London. He works on the development and harmonisation of multinational time-use survey data for the Multinational Time Use Study (MTUS), collaborating with national statistical offices and international research partners to enhance data quality and comparability. He also contributes to the development and delivery of training workshops for time use research.
Qi's research focuses on the use of time-use data to understand formal and informal learning activities across the life course. His broader interests lie at the intersection of education, social science, and data science, with particular expertise in quantitative research methods, machine learning, survey analysis, and longitudinal data.
Qi completed a PhD in Educational Technology at UCL, where he investigated collaborative learning and educational processes using multimodal learning analytics and artificial intelligence. He has published widely on learning analytics, educational data science, and AI in education.
